Dear members of NextNow Network,

In honor of interdependence day weekend,— I want to reach out to you with a call from my heart. Interdependence has deep meaning for me.— It is through relational ways of organizing that we can change the models that have siloed and alienated or world. Through interdependence, we liberate aliveness.

Dreamfish is a member-operated work network, which will enable enlivening work for millions of us, as we hire, collaborate, exchange value, and recieve cash as a worker or job provider. Dreamfish is a place where we who are at the margins, unemployed, in recovery, disabled, living on the streets, or homebound can easily find meaningful work and pay for food and shelter. Where each of us can see our own self-worth as we accomplish good work. Where we learn in community, feel welcome to make mistakes and ask for help. Where we learn to respect the earth. Where we share. Where we heal our wounds of alienation, and nourish our growth.

Some of you may know a bit of my story, and why I have committed my life to Dreamfish. I know what it is to come from the margins, and to move from death to a full life. I have known hunger and crippling trauma and fought barriers of prejudice and lack of access. I have also been fortunate to have mentors, who have helped me to lift myself up and helped me to see the value of my work. Paying my life forward, I deeply want to enable all of us to move towards a life where our work is valued. Dreamfish is this new world of work. Dreamfish will mean sustainable work for all.
